Oscar Eugene Morgan was born in Plymouth, Indiana on January 28, 1889 to John H. and Sarah (Dreibelbis) Morgan.  He married Hazel Agnes Unger in November of 1912.  He worked variously as a farmer, railroad conductor and school bus driver.  Oscar died on October 25, 1980 and was buried next to Hazel in Oakhill Cemetery in Plymouth, Indiana. Hazel Agnes Unger - wife of Oscar Eugene Morgan
Hazel Agnes Unger was born on September 8, 1894 to Lewis and Bertha Jane (Kichler) Unger in Indiana.  She married Oscar Morgan and raised thirteen children.  Hazel died on December 17, 1971 and was buried in Oakhill Cemetery. [2]

John Adrian Morgan was born to Oscar and Hazel Morgan on March 4, 1914 in Plymouth, Indiana.  He contracted scarlet fever which later developed into dropsy.  John Adrian Morgan died at 3:30 a. m. on Monday, May 12, 1924.  His younger brother Wayne died the next day.  A double funeral was held at 2:00 p. m. on Thursday at the Christian church in Plymouth.  Burial followed in Oakhill Cemetery, in Plymouth. Norma Ruth Morgan was born September 18, 1916 in Plymouth, Indiana.  She married Albert W. Fillinger.  Norma died on March 17, 2003.  Services were held on March 29 in Madera, California at Abbey Funeral and Cremation Services in Fresno, California.  Norma was buried next to her husband in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, in Santa Nella, Merced County, California. Albert Wateman Fillinger - husband of Norma Ruth Morgan
Albert Wateman Fillinger was born on May 3, 1913.  He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War attaining the rank of SF3.  Albert died on October 31, 1998 in California.  He was buried in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. [5]

Wayne Kent Morgan, son of Oscar and Hazel Morgan, was born August 14, 1918 in Plymouth, Indiana.  He died at 4:00 p. m. on Tuesday, May 13, 1924 from complications following scarlet fever.  A double funeral was held for Wayne and his brother at 2:00 p. m. on Thursday at the Plymouth Christian church.  Both boys were buried in Oakhill Cemetery. Born on September 5, 1920 at Plymouth, Indiana Jane "Bertha" Morgan was the second daughter of Oscar and Hazel Morgan.  Jane graduated from Lapaz High School in 1938. She moved to Indianapolis shortly after graduation and met her future husband while working at the Betsy Ross Café.
Jane was a matron at the Johnson County Jail for the two Sheriffs “Red” Worrick and Jack Means.  She also worked as a nurse’s aide at Turtle Creek Nursing Home.

As a widow in her early 50’s Jane had never learned to drive a car.  Seeing that as just another of life’s challenges, she took lessons and obtained her driver’s license.  Encouraged by her achievement, her next step was to enroll in the School of Practical Nursing (Indianapolis Public Schools).  Following graduation in 1977 she began a career as an LPN at Greenwood Village South and remained there until she retired as a charge nurse some 15 years later.

Jane loved to travel.  when her younger daughter's family relocated to Europe for work, Jane visited them often.  As a family, they toured Germany, Austria, France (dinner in the Effel Tower), Italy (the Tivoli Fountain) and London.  Other enjoyable trips included Canada and Alaska, highlighted by horseback riding and fishing.  She also snorkeled in the Cayman Islands at age 89.  In earlier years she, Ralph and their children spent many fun summers fishing in Minnesota.

Jane attended Smith Valley Baptist Church and was a member of the White River Township Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.  She lived in the Smith Valley area for over 50 years.

Jane “Bertha” Wilson, 99 of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Otterbein Franklin Senior Life Community.  Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery was honored to serve the family of Jane Wilson.  There was a service on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana. Ralph E. Wilson - husband of Jane "Bertha" Morgan
Ralph E. Wilson was born on January 11, 1919 in Richmond, Indiana.  He served in the United States Navy during World War II.  After the war, Ralph worked for thirty-three years at the Penn Central Transportaion Company as an engineer.  In 1967 he became a deputy sherriff for Johnson County.  Ralph was a member of; the Ernie Pyle Post - Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Police League of Indiana, the Bargersville Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rite and Shrine.

Ralph E. Wilson died on Friday, July 6, 1973 in Johnson Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, Indiana after being stricken with a sudden heart seizure while in his home.  Funeral services were held at 11:30 a. m. on Monday, July 9 at the G. H. Herrman Madison Avenue Funreal Home.  Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. [8]

MaryAnn Morgan was born to Oscar and Hazel Morgan on September 18, 1916 on a farm near Plymouth, Indiana.  After graduating from Lapaz High School, she worked at Kingsbury Munitions.  On September 30, 1945 MaryAnn married Joe A. Orr.  After Joe and MaryAnn graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1949, they opened Orr Chiropractic Office in Warsaw and practiced together for more than 50 years.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 49.  MaryAnn was a leader in the Girl Scouts as well as a Cub Scout Den Mother.  MaryAnn loved being outdoors, gardening, camping and holding Girl Scout and Cub Scout outings at the family farm south of Warsaw.  She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed playing ball with her grandchildren.

MaryAnn Orr died on on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 9:55 a. m. in her residence.  She was buried next to her husband in Oakwood Cemetery, in Warsaw, Indiana.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw was in charge of arrangements and services. [9]

Joe A. Orr was born on March 31, 1921.  He died on February 28, 1999.  Joe was buried in Oakwood Cemetery. [10]

Lloyd Adam Morgan was born to Oscar and Hazel Morgan in Plymouth, Indiana on August 18, 1924.  He graduated in 1942 from Lapaz High School.  Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  On May 6, 1945 he married Betty Drusilla Ivey, in Jacksonville, Florida.  In 1953 he graduated from the Grand Palmer College of Chiropractory.  Lloyd was a member of; the Akron United Methodist Church, the Akron Lions Club, a former member of Akron Masonic Lodge, the Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine (both of Fort Wayne) and a 33-year member of Rozella Ford Golf Club in Warsaw.  He was also a league bowler for several years at North Manchester and he loved gardening.

Lloyd A. Morgan died on April 27, 2003.  A private family memorial service was held in Akron (There was no public service or visitation).  Burial was at the Akron IOOF Cemetery.  The Hartzler Funeral Home in Akron, handled the arrangements. [11]

Betty Drusilla Ivey - wife of Lloyd Adam Morgan
Betty Drusilla Ivey was born to John and Drusilla (Braddock) Ivey on January 13, 1927 in Jacksonville, Florida.  She married Lloyd Adam Morgan on May 6, 1945 and they made their home in Akron, Indiana.  They raised five daughters and two sons.  Betty was a member of the Akron United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.  She also was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She loved reading, crocheting, preparing food, watching movies, and getting together with family, especially the regular family Sunday breakfasts in many area restaurants.  Her husband's family was a very special and supportive part of her life.

Betty Ivey Morgan died at 5:45 a. m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Grace Village Health Care facility in Winona Lake, Indiana.  Services were held at the Hartzler Funeral Home in Akron at 3:00 p. m. on Sunday, September 30.  Betty was buried next to Adam in a private family service in the Akron IOOF Cemetery. James Richard "Dick" Morgan was born March 27, 1926 in Plymouth, Indiana.  He attended the Linkville School.  In 1955 Dick was eager to serve his country so he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.  Dick was a carpenter by trade and personally raised hogs until an early disability prevented him from doing so.  He first married Janet E. Hamman. Together, they had five children.

On September 19, 1987, in Argos, Dick Morgan married Marvis A. (Jones) Crum.  The union added three more children (and respective spouses) to the family.  At the time of this wedding there were twenty-seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren in Dick's family.  Dick was an active member of the Jordan Baptist Church.  He enjoyed square dancing as a member of the Rochester "Swinging Dudes."  He was a Master Gardener, wrote and published works of poetry, and also enjoyed reading, fishing, listening to Country/Western music and, above all else, spending time with family.

James Richard Morgan died due to natural causes on Saturday evening, January 31, 2009, in the St. Joseph Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  A memorial service with the family was held on Wednesday, February 4th, from 4 - 8 p. m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home in Plymouth.  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Jordan Baptist Church in Argos, Indiana with Pastor Thomas Tupps officiating.  Calling occurred at the church one hour prior to services.  Burial followed in the Jordan Cemetery next to his second wife, Marvis.  Full military honors were accorded to him.  Memorial gifts were requested to be made to the church or the American Cancer Society in Mishawaka, Indiana. Janet E. Hamman married James Richard Morgan.  They raised four daughters and a son. [14]

Marvis A. (Jones) Crum - second wife of James Richard Morgan
Marvis Ann Jones was born on March 11, 1945 in Rochester to Berne O. and Mildred A. (Mathias) Jones.  She was a graduate of North Miami High School with the Class of 1963 and graduated in 2003 from Ivy Tech with honors.  Marvis lived in the Argos community for 40 years.  On Sept. 19, 1987 in Argos, she married James “Jim” Richard Morgan at the Jordan Baptist Church.  She was a seamstress at Hart, Schaffner & Marx in Rochester for more than 22 years and also worked for a time at Braun Seating in Leiters Ford, Indiana.  Marvis was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church in Argos and the Swinging Dudes Square Dance Club in Rochester.  She also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge #124 in Rochester.  She was a Master Gardener, loved her family, knitting, cross stitching, crocheting and camping.

Marvis A. Morgan died on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 2:40 a. m. at her daughter’s residence in LaGrange, Indiana following a two-year illness.  Visitation services were held at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home in Argos on Thursday.  Funeral services were held on Friday at the Jordan Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Tupps officiating.  Marvis was buried in Jordan Cemetery. [15]

Mahlon G. Robinson - husband of Helen Erdean Morgan
Mahlon G. Robinson was born in Tippicanoe, Indiana on July 1, 1928 to Clifford and Fay Brumbaugh Robinson.  He was a sibling to brother Keith and sister June Robinson.  Mahlon graduated from Tippicanoe High Schoolin 1946.  In 1947 he married Helen Morgan.  Together, they raised a daughter and two sons.  Mahlon worked in the research and development area at Indiana Heat Transfer (McCord Corpration) in Plymouth, from where he retired.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and repairing lawn mowers.

Mahlon G. Robinson died at 2:50 p. m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, in Bremen Community Hospital.  A celebration of Mahlon's life was held on Friday, February 2 in the Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home in Bourbon, Indiana.  The Rev. Alan Robinson officiated.  Mahlon was buried in Tippecanoe Cemetery in Tippecanoe, Marshall County, Indiana.  His family asked that memorial contributions be made to the Tippicanoe Emergency Medical Services. Daren Duane Morgan was born to Oscar and Hazel Morgan in Indiana.  He married Norma Deanne Kaser and they had a daughter.  After Norma died Daren married Dorothy Beyler Ringer. [20]

Norma Deanne Kaser - wife of Daren Duane Morgan
Norma Deanne Kaser was born to Claude and Marion (Logan) Kaser on September 5, 1931 in Plymouth, Indiana.  On November 4, 1949 she married Daren D. Morgan and they had a daughter.  Norma was employed as a secretary for the superintendant of Plymouth community schools.  She was a member of the choir at Plymouth's First United Medthodits Church for several years.  Norma was well know in the local area for her singing abilities and served as a soloist for numerous events.  In addition to the church, she was a member of the Tyra Constance Guild and was an officer in the Order of the Eastern Star, grand cross of colors.

Norma Morgan died in Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana on Monday, October 9, 1972 after suffering a cerebral hemorhage.  Visitation services were held on Wednesday after 4:00 p. m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Plymouth.  The Rev. Samuel Carlton, pastor of Plymouth's First United Methodist Church officiated the funeral services on Thursday from the funeral home.  Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. [21]

Stanley Lynne Morgan was born to Oscar Eugene and Hazel (Unger) Morgan on September 29, 1931 in Plymouth, Indiana.  On February 19, 1955 in Spokane, Washington, he married Dorothy Medved.  Stanley served his country with a distinguished career in the United States Air Force, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant after thirty two years of service.  He served during the Korean War and Vietnam War having been stationed at various bases across the world including serving in Thailand, Korea, Guam, and England.  He was also part of the elite Pink Panthers serving as crew chief during their tour in South America.  After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for Tippecanoe Valley Schools and for the Burkett Co-Op.

Stanley was a member of the American Legion.  He was the symbol of patriotism and that of dedicated family man.  He was always tinkering or doing something productive in life, always one to serve his family and friends.  He enjoyed gardening, horseshoes, playing cards, dancing, singing, woodworking and most important spending as much time as possible with his family.

Stanley L. Morgan died at 8:28 A.M. Monday August 19, 2019 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana.  Funeral services were conducted at 6:00 P.M. Thursday August 22, 2019 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.  Friends visited from 4-6 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.  Military services were conducted by the United States Air Force Military Rites Team and the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard following services Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions were requested to be made to Doctors without Borders. Kay Frances Morgan was born October 4, 1935 in Plymouth, Indiana, the daughter of Oscar and Hazel Morgan.  She graduated from LaPaz High School with the class of 1953.  On October 23, 1954, Kay and Billy J. Smith were married in her sister's Warsaw home.  Kay was a caring and active person who loved her family; spending time camping, fishing, hunting mushrooms, and attending many activities of the grandchildren.  She was a member of a Home Economics Club and enjoyed tending a garden, growing both flowers and vegetables, which led to a large amount of canning that she shared with others.  In earlier times Kay played volleyball, bowled and was a member of a Women's Softball Team in Plymouth.  She enjoyed traveling in the West and spending time in Florida.  She was a member of the Plymouth Women of the Moose and liked playing cards.  She and her husband Bill appreciated antiques and collected glassware.  She was a member of the Plymouth C.B. Radio Club and was often a fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Kay F. Smith died in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, at 8:10 a. m. on Wednesday, on September 28, 2011.  Visitation with Kay's family was held on Monday, October 3rd from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home in Plymouth, Indiana.  Funeral services for Kay were held on Tuesday, October 4th at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with her nephew, Rev. Alan Robinson officiating.  Memorial contributions were suggested to be made in Kay's memory to the A.L.S. Foundation - Indiana Chapter.  Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth. [25]

Billy J. Smith - husband of Kay Frances Morgan
Billy J. Smith was born in Plymouth on April 8, 1928.  He was the son of Carl R. and Orpha M (Sisk) Smith.  Bill graduated from Plymouth’s Lincoln High School with the Class of 1946.  Bill served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Marshall County VFW Post 1162 and the American Legion Post 27.  On October 23, 1954 in Warsaw, Indiana, he took the former Kay F. Morgan as his bride and love of his life.  Together they enjoyed travel, spending winters in the Lake Placid area of Florida and attending the many sporting events of their grandchildren.  His happiest times were those spent at family get togethers.  Bill worked as a lineman and then a general foreman with the Northen Indiana Public Service Company for 41 years and retired in 1988.  Bill was also a member of the Plymouth Moose Family Center No. 741, and the Plymouth Eagles Lodge.  He enjoyed fishing, especially in Minnesota, and coin collecting as well as weekly card games at the Life Enrichment Center.

Billy James Smith, 88, passed away Tuesday morning in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka.  Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 5th from 4 – 8 p. m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth.  Funeral services were conducted in the funeral home at 11 a. m. on Wednesday, July 6th.  The Rev. Alan Robinson officiated.  Military honors immediately followed at the funeral home, provided by members of the Plymouth American Legion Post 27, Veterans of Foreign Wars – Marshall County Post 1162 and the D.A.V.  Bill was laid to rest next to his wife in Oak Hill Cemetery. Duwaine Albert Hoffman - first husband of Lois Morgan
Duwaine Albert Hoffman was born October 18, 1934 in Lakeville, Indiana.  He was a son of George Albert & Treva Irene (Hygema) Hoffman, and remained a lifelong resident of that area.  He married Lois Morgan and they had two sons and a daughter, but they divorced in 1962.  On September 27, 1974 in South Bend, Duwaine married Yvonne Outlaw.  Duwaine worked as a self-employed machine shop owner for many years.

Duwaine Albert Hoffman died peacefully at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Golden Living Center-Fountainview, Mishawaka.  Services were held at Noon, Friday, October 30, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Woodland, where the family received friends one hour prior to the service.  Rev. JoAn Schaetzle, and Rev. Joseph Gause officiated.  Graveside services and burial followed at St. John’s Cemetery, Woodland, Indiana. [28]

Jon E. Wallace - second husband of Lois Morgan
Jon E. Wallace was born to Charles and Ruby Wallace in Indiana on December 14, 1933.  He married Lois Morgan on December 16, 1963 and they had a son and daughter.  Jon was a postal delivery carrier for several years.  He passed away on April 21, 1989.  After funeral services, held at the Brinks Funeral Home in Lakeville, Indiana, Jon was buried in Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana. Martin J. Evans - third husband of Lois Morgan
Martin J. Evans was born on May 15, 1931, in Allegan County, MI, and had lived much of his life in the South Haven, MI, area.  Marty was the youngest of eleven children born to Homer and Pearl (King) Evans.

Marty worked in road construction for much of his life, helping to build highways throughout southern Michigan.  Later in life he served as a sales representative for Great Lakes Aerocam, selling aerial photographs of homes and farms throughout northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan.  Marty served his country during the Korean War with the United States Army.  Marty was an avid golfer who shot his age (73) just a year before he died.  He also had the good fortune to record two holes-in-one; one in Michigan and one in Indiana.  His other pastimes were playing euchre and cribbage, bowling and cooking.  He was a great conversationalist who loved people.

Martin J. Evans died at 8:30 a. m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana.  A funeral service was held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2006, in the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, Indiana.  A funeral service was also be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2006, in the Casco United Methodist Church, South Haven, MI.  Burial followed at McDowell Cemetery, in South Haven, Michigan.
