Jeanne Marie Huybrecht was born to Aristide and Clotilde Huybrecht on July 13, 1906 in Canada.  On December 8, 1932 she married George Clayton Stemen in Waterloo, Michigan.  Living in Toledo, Ohio, they raised two sons.  Jeanne died in Ohio on June 1, 1996. [1]

 

Ward Douglas Tracy was the first husband of Jeanne Marie Huybrecht.  They married in 1927, but were divorced by 1932.  No other information regarding the life of Ward Douglas Tracy has been located at this time. [2]

 

George Clayton Stemen was born on November 23, 1909 to Clayton D. and Dora (Hildreth) Stemen in Lima, Ohio.  He married Jeanne Marie Huybrecht in Waterloo, Michigan on December 8, 1932.  Living in Toledo, Ohio, George was a founder of the Glass City Motorcycle Club.  He worked for, and retired from, the Dana Corporation.  George died on Monday, May 8, 1995 in the Toledo Hospital.  Services were private. Danny Lee Stemen was born on August 23, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio.  He served in the United States Air Force.  On January 26, 1957, Danny married Joan Marie Marchetto in Toledo.  Danny spent his working life as an auto mechanic.

Danny died on November 24, 2003 at Sturkie, Arkansas.  A memorial service was held on November 29, 2003 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas with Brother John W. Gerlasch officiating.  His remains were cremated. [4]

 

Joan Marie Marchetto was born to Michael and Eva Marchetto on September 5, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio.  She married Danny Lee Stemen in Toledo, Ohio in 1957 and they raised two daughters.  Joan was a homemaker and a keypunch operator for Galveston, Inc.  She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in West Plains, Missouri.

Joan died at her home in Sturkie, Arkansas on June 9, 2006.  memorial service was held on June 15, 2006 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas with the Reverend John W. Gerlasch officiating. [5]

Larry Joe Stemen was to George and Jeanne (Huybrecht) Stemen on March 2, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio.  He never married.  A fan of auto racing, Larry died on May 16, 2002 in his motor home while camping out for a race with his brother Danny at the Lincoln Speedway in Oxford, Pennsylvania.  In honor of Larry's wishes, no formal ceremony was held and his remains were cremated.
